The saying goes, when life gives you lemons, make lemonade.
Life, it seems, has pelted me with lemons right now. I just don't know what to do with them.
How do you deal with the challenges, crises, emergencies and heartache that come your way? Where do you turn, what strategies do you use, to help get you through when you're certain that you cannot handle one more bit of bad news?
What's your recipe for lemonade?

Sorry to hear you are going through some tough times right now! I hope things get better for you soon.
I have found that when life throwing too many lemons at me it really helps if I take a step back, breathe and focus on what is the most important and easiest to take care of first. I grab a big bowl of sugar (plan of attack) and start stirring it in. The things that are the easiest to take care of, and the most controlable, are the one's I tackle first. If there's two at the same level I try to juggle both and then work my way down the line.

When life starts to overwhelm, I give myself a time out. I go for a walk or find some alone time. I go through the mental exercise of stripping all of the outside forces from my brain. When finally they are cleared away, the truth always seems to be just waiting there for me. By truth I mean that personal instinct of what is right for you and yours. It's always there.
tears, sighing, and then a lot of resolve to move on and get through what needs getting through. And yes, sometimes a time out or a change of tactic is the way for me.

Keep your chin up things will turn around! I'm a firm believer that if we keep trying and keep a positive attitude that everything turns out for the best.
