own the hour!

update: i went, i owned...i was let down. unfortunately (for me, i guess), my ad on 'own the hour' didn't bring any additional traffic to my little corner of etsy. that's not to say that it won't catch on, just that it didn't generate much interest today. i'll have to wait and see how others do with it, and then maybe try again.

heard about this (brand-spankin' new) ad site called own the hour, on the etsy forums. since it's a dollar per hour, i decided to give it a shot and see if it brings me any additional shop views/purchases. it's an interesting concept... looks alot like an etsy showcase, but is many different shops. check it out, see what you think and blog about it. maybe it'll end up being another successful way to get exposure for your shop(s).
